Pros

The reps who exceed quota get rewarded. The reps who are constantly below their numbers should re-evaluate their career choice. CareerBuilder is not a place for folks to come and collect a paycheck. You are expected to work hard and constantly manage your book of business. If you are able to do this - you will be rewarded financially and get public recognition.

Cons

Long hours and you are constantly working - much like any other sales job.

    I worked at CareerBuilder

    Pros

    - good benefits and perks
    - decent training in if you are in the right programs
    - good commission plan

    Cons

    - tons of cliques, if you are the flavor of the month with management, life is great, but when you aren't it is pretty clear and they are on to the next
    - high turnover
    - young managers that love power

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promoting young managers is great and provides tons of opportunity, but these people need training....some of them are just high on power providing an awful work experience for those on the team.
