Former Employee - Care Advisor in San Antonio, TX
Former Employee - Care Advisor in San Antonio, TX

I worked at Carenet Healthcare Services full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Working from home
Monthly morale bonus-$20-30 to nurses for a pedicure, car wash etc.

Cons

Lost over 60 nurses since May 2011, what does that tell you?
Will not pay bonus incentive even if you qualify, finding some inaccurate score to throw off your metrics so they wont have to pay you.
Starts one out at $25.25 hr regardless of nursing experience
Will belittle you if your call score/metrics are not suitable to them despite being reasonable to an unbiased eye
Your schedule is NEVER consistent and they come at you with the line of "business needs"

In a statement- they will promise you the world at the outset, then.......

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest and forthcoming to new staff. Stop the nit picky monitoring and backbiting. The all female led nurse triage line needs to be shaken up, too "clicky" and too fake.

    Pros

The call center side of things are great

    Cons

The corporate side of the company lacks vision and direction in my opinion - they really make things up as they go along in my opinion when it comes to offering service solutions to customers. Having worked there, be aware that corporate policy and practice is to record all calls without notifying the outside parties of such - so if you are not used to that, beware. In opinion maybe some federal laws are being ignored there but who knows for sure.
