I have been working at Carestream Health full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Competitive salaries with a nice work/life balance.

Cons

Culture is adverse to radical change. CEO is smart, but to a fault.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership is very concerned about bottom line & cash flow. They need to take more risks and fill strategic positions that have been vacant for extended periods.

I have been working at Carestream Health full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Interesting products across the business. Joined in 1997 and was a good educational experience. Smart people.

    Cons

Managers take care of their favorites where they do the right thing or not. They need to get rid of the lower 10 % percent. All they dead wood as gone the first year they did it. That was 5 years ago. No celebrations, they work you into the ground, expect you to cancel vacation if a product launch is due.No advancement in pay codes I have have not changed since 2000.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of CEO Kevin Hobert. Look at his approval numbers on glass door Carestream is terrible. Have ONEX sell and we go public. Used to be a fun place to work and new everyone. They have fired so many people and hired new people that no know about medical products or commerializtion at lower wages.
