I worked at Cargill as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    The work is real.
    Responsibility.
Good pay for what you do.
Culture is very safe and friendly.

    Cons

People are always out of office.
Sometimes unclear when projects are given.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work with your interns more or assign an office "buddy" to help them out their first few weeks. Cargill is a huge place and can get confusins.

I have been working at Cargill full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Work life balance can be achieved. Flexible work arrangements permit work from home which is great.

    Cons

Salary does not align with current market rates; even with candid feedback about this, it makes little difference.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The sales people that directly help their business unit earn more are directly compensated based on this performance yet when "IT" groups enable a business unit to be more profitable, where is the direct correlation in the compensation plan? I have not seen it.
