Current Employee - Intern in Newark, CA

I have been working at Cargill as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and they are always dealing with exciting work. As big as Cargill is, they still make an amazing effort to make the company feel like a big family. Loved the people I worked with!

Cons

The only thing is that most of the employees I worked with were a little on the older end of the age spectrum. I am in my mid twenties and had to be the youngest by 15 or so years (although I was an intern).

I have been working at Cargill as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

There are a lot of strong leaders at Cargill that are very willing to assist the interns and help them learn how to effectively manage projects in the plant.

    Cons

Most of the plants are located in small towns in the Midwest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure to include the interns in meetings with higher level engineers. This will give them good exposure to the roles they could apply for after graduation.
