Pros

Located in the heart of Downtown

Cons

Sexist people and a locker room environment. No teamwork. Very low pay that is not comparable to the rest of the market. Brokers having affairs with assistants. Brokers taking clients to strip clubs. Fighting among team members. Management has no control.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promoting an alcoholic who sleeps in his office all day is disgusting.

    Can have good group of brokers to work with on any given assignment.

    Cons

    No meaningful support from company and managers short stop good referrals and opportunities.

    I have been working at Cassidy Turley full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    -The pay is good, considering it is entry-level business
    -The benefits offered are very fair
    -Everyone I work with is very competent and capable
    -The managers are very open, welcoming, and helpful

    Cons

    -There is no work/life balance. They expect you to leave on time, but when you do, you don't get your work finished.
    -Too much workload, understaffed in some departments
    -Cannot roll over vacation days one year to the next. "Use it or lose it" policy
    -Stress levels of all employees seems incredibly high and you see people working late into the evening and every weekend pretty often
    -Detail-oriented individuals are not valued. Due to the high volume of work expected, taking time for details is not possible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consult with your teams (those that do the actual hands-on work for the client, such as transaction managers) before signing the client contract each year. Hire a larger team for the larger accounts so that individuals are not working as late. The workload expected is not possible. Remove "detail oriented" from the job descriptions as those that are get punished since they try to do a good job and can't because there is little time for actual detailed work.
