Pros

Some the most dedicated production staff I've ever worked with.
19 days vacation.
Good salary.

Cons

Meat grinder..... As a production supervisor/manager you are in charge of 80-90 people, many lines, mulitple deviations you are chained to your desk writing reports which leaves little time to spend on the floor. If your a new supervisor/manager looking to gain some experience very quickly this maybe the place for you, if your a seasoned supervisor/mananger keep looking.

Advice to Management

Divide and conquer. Somehow find a way to divide the workload.

    Pros

-It's a great place to learn and the management is great about creating or accomodating time for any additional personal development/growth activities.
-The people that work at Catalent are awesome to work with and put in the extra effort as a team, when needed.

    Cons

-Not enough people to maintain the work load efficiently.
-You have to put in too many extra hours if you want to be successful.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee feedback when it's given, and hire more people if you want to retain talent.

  2. Opportunities for growth. I have learned more here than anywhere in my career in half the time.

    Pros

Potential for growth if you are also aggressive in pursuing it them. The individuals that work in the company are employed because of their expertise in the industry and most will share that experience with you if prompted. There is a strong vision for the company for future growth.

    Cons

Relatively flat leadership structure which results in a culture of delegation that focuses workload on only a few people. Lean structure creates high workload for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Investing in the people by offering more opportunities for training and skills outside of the core job responsibilities will retain and create value for the people and the company as a whole.
