I have been working at Catamaran full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people, pay is average to slightly above average, excellent 401k and tuition reimbursement programs.

    Cons

This company has a lot of growing pains; higher turn over rates and constant policy and procedure changes can make this a very stressful work environment. This company seems to have some aversion to using impact analysis and implementation strategy when it comes to procedural changes; they just jump right in and make things up as they go.

Lots of pizazz, but more like fizz.

I worked at Catamaran full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

top notch management group and a highly touted executives team

    Cons

Lots of talk and excitement that really doesn't materialize in real business and career growth.
Acquisitions sound exciting until you are asked to manage them all without creating efficiencies and without additional resources.
18 hour days and long weekends are the norm.
Feels like a good ol boys club.
True leadership and real experience does not count for anything if you are getting paid well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't work your employees like a sweatshop and expect them to survive or stick around. Being a "big boy" PBM means you need to start acting like a big boy PBM.

    Disapproves of CEO
