I have been working at Cedar Fair part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fun and somewhat exciting place to work. It has its ups and downs but isn't the worst place to have a job.

    Cons

You seem to only get noticed for screwing up, terrible pay, and the hours are terrible in non-peak times of the year. They also do a terrible job of explaining their policies to new employees.

Great company with great growth potential

I have been working at Cedar Fair full-time

    Pros

This is a dynamic company with plenty of potential for growth in the marketplace and a loyal following of raving fans. I'm proud to take family and friends to the company's properties and discuss the changing scenery of the industry of amusement and theme parks. I still believe no one does it better among true ride parks than Cedar Point and Cedar Fair.

    Cons

You might need to start with the company in a role below your current capabilities and work your way through to your own sweet spot. If you dislike a structured, tiered management hierarchy, you may want to stay away. It's been that way for years and likely to remain that way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing and loving those guests.
