Tons of income potential, but we have way more liability and no benefits as a contractor.

I have been working at Cellular Sales

Pros-Good pay relative to other companies in the industry
-Freedom to do outside/business sales
-Somewhat steady as commission sales go
-Exciting new technology

Cons-Employed as a "contractor" with no benefits
-As a contractor, we pay for any phones or accessories lost or stolen
-Commission sales with no base pay = no guarantee of a decent paycheck
-Lots of customer service, for which we do not get paid
-Long shifts (10-12 hours) are very common
-Lots of pressure to sell new lines of service - no account made for upgrades

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease don't use condescending language when pushing reps to sell new lines and aircards. Many of us are genuinely trying to do what is best for the customer and that does not always include adding something on their account they won't use, but will have to pay for.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
