    Pros

The work is meaningful and creative. The online capability is solid and there's room for improvement.

    Cons

The management isn't flexible and is often stuck in the past --this is only from an online angle.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Center for American Progress as an intern

    Pros

The people are very invested in what they're doing, and I got a lot of exposure to different aspects of working a think tank. Moreover, their intern program is pretty expansive, so even if you don't get paid, you do get a lot of other opportunities-- lunching with the scholars, attending the talks and panels, etc.

    Cons

I occasionally didn't have enough things to do because my initiative had only had part-time interns in the past, and I was full-time.

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunities for upward mobility.
