I have been working at Centerplate full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Strong Financilal backing; Top level management treat you with respect. HR Department work with you to create the best possible environment. The President Des, is very motivational. His positive attitude makes you want to perform. Great place to work.

    Cons

Sometimes turnaround at the office in South Carolina to answer issues you have slower than what I would like. Training not the greatest, but I know that is a major objective in 2013 and is already getting better.

I have been working at Centerplate full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Commitment to high standards, current and leading edge products and services, and the support needed to acheive the same

Constantly providing the vision and challenge to be better, unique and broader than expected resources to those we serve

Provides a nationwide platform of eyecatching industry performance from which to be proud to contribute and grow

Empowers employees to make personal contributions

    Cons

The continual stuggle to attain and retain the best employees. This is because of broader industry competition for similar positions and because the variable nature of our event driven business can challenge our ability to provide uniform/consistent schedules for staff at the line level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to listen to and provide opportinities for employees at every level to provide information about our business from the perspective of the positions they represent.

Continually recognize that employees are probably capable of greater responsibilty, commitment and ownership than current assignments and established approaches may engender

Continue, as it has, to set the standard for the industry
