I have been working at Centerplate full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Centerplate is a great company to work for. The senior management take the hospitality aspect of out business to heart and both guest and client satisfaction are job #1. Employee development and quality of life are equally important to the company and it is a very nice environment in which to work.

Cons

I have no reservations about the company. There is nothing for the "Cons" which comes to mind.

    Pros

Great atmosphere. Upper management knows what they are doing. Pay is commensurate compared to other positions in industry.

    Cons

Hours can be crazy. Personal time or time for family is not valued.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't work your people to the point of exhaustion. If they are paid for 40 and work 80 to 90 hours a week in season, they should not be expected to work 40 hours off season.

I have been working at Centerplate full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of locations and special events to help diversify ones experience. Growth opportunities are available for those that strive for something more. Teamwork at the unit level is unparallelled within the business.

    Cons

Work/Life balance at the unit level is tough to achieve and maintain. Tough challenges are always pushing to make you a stronger leader.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the ship headed on the same course and we will become #1 in event hospitality.
