Stay away from this place

ProsNone really, besides a small paycheck.

ConsProbably the worst place you can work in every aspect. Pay is minimal, overtime is not paid, work environment is awful (leaking ceilings, more than likely exposed to asbestos). They cut every corner to cut costs (then cut them again). The health insurance provided is owed by a sister company and is brutal and over priced. I have seen freight in a two day lane take 20+ days! I could go on for hours about how much a joke CT is but why bother....just glad i don't work there anymore.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    I have been working at Central Transport International full-time for more than 5 years


    Pros: Very limited pros to work for Central and I honestly can only think of one. They gave me a job. Besides that it hasn't… Cons: Long hours 12-14 at times 6 days a week. Raises have been frozen since 2008 you get a raise if you move to another dump… Advice to Senior Management: Unfreeze raises and pay your employees competitive. Stop micromanaging everything and let the managers manage. The owner of the company needs to stop being greedy… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

    Terrible company - will rip off the customer any chance they get and ignore customers

    Pros: decent starting pay but they rarely give raises Cons: ignored by departments that need to help the customer....constantly instructed to lie to the customer and they regularly overbill them. They regularly lose… Advice to Senior Management: Get real. You will never have a good reputation in the logistics world the way you treat customers.
