Many of the employees in CHPG were friendly and wonderful to work with; however, management relied on bullying tactics

Pros

The employees in other hospital groups of Centura, the vision, the benefits were okay.

Cons

Bullying allowed to occur by upper management who wanted mindless minions to work. No transparency. Cronyism. Group think. No support, recognition, or feedback from management. No accountability by management. Pay raise structure encourages playing favorites. Slashing support staff to save pennies results in a burned out staff who are working but not engaged. No belief in work/life balance for exempt employees. Gossip by certain directors is appalling!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open your eyes and look at what your directors are doing! Do they follow the mission statement and core values or is it okay for them bully people out of the door and say malicious lies about other directors, physicians, and employees?

    I worked at Centura Health

    Pros

New, beautiful, multimillion dollar facilities. Of course a different budget for that since raises have been canceled.

    Cons

Poor decision making at the top level. Implementation of a computerized charting system that is unanimously hated by everyone who uses it. This system takes hours away from nurses trying to provide patient care. M.S. , the last hospital admin. made well over a mil a year but that's a diffrent budget too apparently, since the staff are not getting a cost of living raise now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give employee's their raises. Get rid of the million dollar paychecks for management. Get real about fixing Meditech. The staff have had enough.
