I worked at CenturyLink full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The people are professionals and are open to collaboration. Teams are great working to get the job done to the best of their ability.

    Cons

Telecommunication is a tough industry with ever changing technology. Management does not listen to some of their best talent when faced with keeping customers satisfied.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be open to new ideas and some deviation from the norm. It might actually be a better way to solve some problems.

Expected all from you, and didn't give you same in return.

Current Employee - Inbound Sales Associate in Jefferson City, MO

I have been working at CenturyLink full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Very nice incentives, own workspace, nice attendance policy

    Cons

Constantly, to the literal minute, company policy changes that went into effect while on shift.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I know it's a sale company, but having to offer on every call even if a customer is complaining about always being offered something on every call and to stop, is tacky.
