    Pros

    Work atmosphere is professional but casual; Leadership is good; Benefits can be great; training is good

    Cons

    Slow to get things done; Have to wait for promotions, even if you're ready; Talent acquisition at lower levels has very low expectations, which can lead to unskilled techs working skilled jobs; final steps of merger with embarq have left a few areas scattered (but this is truly getting better)

    Advice to Management

    Allow employees to move at our own pace rather than having to wait for promotion;

    I worked at CenturyLink part-time

    Pros

    Pay, flexibility, and very rewarding you get all types of gift cards and other incentives.

    Cons

    They really push hard for sales but if you can stick it out the pay will eventually make up for the amount of stress that you have to deal with.

    Advice to Management

    Create a que for just sales and a que for customer service people no when they want to buy something and some do not want to spend 15min on the phone pushing sales.
