I have been working at CenturyLink full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flexible schedule, offers great vacation, great coworkers, and good pay.

    Cons

downgraded the systems that make it very hard to do your job. Very SLOW. Does not have what it takes to compete in todays world of communications. DSL does not compare to any competitor data service as far as speed and capabilities. No mobil service. If we can't get our own systems to speed up to do our jobs its not likely they will do it for the customer either. If the company does not catch up in technology. It does not look like a very promising future. I have been with this company for over 15yrs and have watched it slowly decline over the last several years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the current systems and quit trying to make it so hard on the employees. Giving us ancient systems that are not "friendly" to work in, get our old systems back or upgrade to something completely new. What you have is not working. And until you get the systems updated, quit increasing productivity. Its all about the numbers and not about the customer service. I would love to see this company turn around and become the company we used to love. Become the company that use to care about its employees and customers. A company that use to compete in technology.
