Pros

Innovative Company
Great technology infrastructure
Great Benefits
Young employees - at least 50% of the company are out of college or still early in their careers
Great place to learn about EMRs

Cons

Salary - comparing my role to the industry, you are grossly underpaid for the amount of work you put in
High Turnover

Advice to Management

If you want to keep your employees, pay them more. Especially those who are in consultant roles.

    Pros

Nice people to work with. Quiet office environment. Pretty stress free.

    Cons

Expected to work more than 40 hours a week. Salary is a bit on the low side. Not many opportunities for advancement at the Denver office.

    Pros

Benefits, health facility, and own clinic and pharmacy

    Cons

Training is pointless, because they hire so many people that you end up getting trained by someone who started only a couple months before you. All they care about is numbers and getting rid of tickets (clients) rather than trying to figure out the true source of the problem. Everyone that is on my team does not have any technical background or education or clinical experience. It's pretty much a customer service representative.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees first before throwing them in there. To some extent this can be good, but how Cerner does it, it decreases efficiency and patient safety.
