    Pros

A very collaborative environment in which to work. Young, still in early growth stages of its industry. Tons of room for advancement in multiple fields.

    Cons

Hard to get a job. Upper management unaware of day to day operations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop thinking retarded workflows make sense (i.e. india)

    Aggressive Culture, Relentless Workload

I have been working at Cerner full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Competitive salary, stock is strong, lots of good people to work with. Software products are good. Internal processes for information flow to associates and clients are good considering the volume. This company will likely bring many positive changes to healthcare in the US and abroad.

    Cons

Workload is ridiculous. Takes months to replace a team member when someone leaves. Management can often be abusive to subordinates. Not all managers of course, but the bad behavior is not kept in check. Some key software support tools are buggy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide associates with more opportunities to anonymously hold management accountable for counter-productive, negative behavior. Nothing kills motivation to work like abusive criticism from management.
