Experience as a technical velocity intern at Cerner

Technical Velocity Intern (Current Employee) Kansas City, MO

Pros-Very good benefits for interns (housing, travel, etc)
-Almost half a day per week of fun team building events (bowling, high and low rope, etc)
-Management very receptive to intern's feedback

Cons-Very limited customer facing opportunities as an intern (most work was for internal teams)
-Relatively lower pay compared to other software engineering internships
-Very little flexibility for working hours and locations

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
