Pros

Friendly employees, Great benefit package, Free parking & little traffic.

Cons

Depending on the department working hours are not a standard 9-5, but the company has recently introduced flex hours.

    Pros

    Good people still hanging on to memories of the good old days.
    Saint Gobain still has some good businesses, if you can find a way to get out of CertainTeed.

    Cons

    Management completely frozen and incapable of making any meaningful decisions on strategy.
    Complete disregard for the value of their employees.
    Manufacturing plants were built under the false premise that bigger is better, now you have huge under-utilize plants that are inflexible and very expensive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Company must have enough autonomy from European parent to make its own decisions on key strategic initiatives.
