    Pros

Good technical support that allows you to be able to work from home and or hotels. Great essential resources when it comes to the wide variety of products under the CertainTeed umbrella.

    Cons

They are a good old boys club. Middle management does not promote employee growth. Lack of communication from the top down to the field is extremely poor. They are not the leader in the industry that they once were and they can't seem to move past that and into the here and now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to listen and respect the knowledge of their long term employees when it comes to customers needs. They also need to respect those employees who have given them 20 +years of service.

    I worked at CertainTeed

    Pros

With variety of departments to work in due to the large product pool.

    Cons

Too much politics being played. If your not in the inner circle your not being looked at to advance.
Communnication is not done with top management to lower departments. Some depts are cut so thin the resources aren't there to support sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a good look at the real workers in the field and listen to what they and their accounts need to sell the products. They seem to let go of employees that reach a certain age & tenure.
