    I worked at Challenger Gray

    Pros

If you love to travel its great, but you're the product not part of the company insider group. The hire only full-time contractors and do fabulous training, but don't deviate from their program.

    Cons

No strategy sharing, and no seeming method to the madness of who they keep and who they let go. Minimal feedback on how you're performing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep training and provide more on-going feedback on what clients and customers are saying about you. More information on what business is in the pipeline would help.

I have been working at Challenger Gray full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Continues to be focused on provided personalized support to clients, unlike other outplacement companies. Most of our programs include at least a full day in person with a client one-on-one. For the last year in particular, the executive team has been listening to employees and implementing strategies to improve morale and help us feel valued. Lots of professional development opportunities where we are provided updated information for today's job search to help our clients. Reasonable coach to client case load ratio - much less than the competition.

    Cons

The salary is fairly low ( but there are year end bonuses and a weekly travel bonus). No benefits. The internal client management system website needs an overhaul.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update the internal system so inputting notes is quicker and more efficient.
