    Fun times in Residence Life!

Former Employee - Resident Advisor in Orange, CA

I worked at Chapman University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Resident Advisors have a chance to be autonomous while working with a team of creative, excited professionals. Lots of experience in program planning, student outreach, and diversity training.

    Cons

One big happy family always has its cliques.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be aware that RAs are students, too. Though they are a special bunch, they know when a program is cheesy and over the top. Simple but significant is best. Keep up the enthusiasm and your RAs will continue to do great work!
