Pros

Good people, good salary, flexible hours, work at your own pace. Good place to develop cultural competency as it serves primarily low-income Asian populations.

Cons

Politics and bureaucracy can sometimes stifle creativity and motivation. Promotions are rare and raises limited. Not sure if hard work and long hours are rewarded with better pay.

Advice to Management

Encourage your staff member's creativity and integrate ideas to improve organization and capacity to provide excellent care. Broaden organizational mission. Reward good employees (nominated by supervisors) of all levels with promotions/raises/bonuses.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good benefits (including health plus dental insurance and paid vacation for full-time workers), overall friendly environment, good for transition between school and work in healthcare for recent college graduates

    Cons

Exclusive environment if you don't understand Cantonese (for the Chinatown site) but you are Asian (e.g. if you are Mandarin-speaking only or Korean) since 90% of staff speak Cantonese in private. Pay and workload are very disproportional, you will most likely be underpaid.

    Advice to Management

Better staff management and work distribution. Better prioritizing of projects and tasks that are not necessary for funding. Better communication between staff and supervisor.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Flexible work time, easy task, internet friendly. No pressure, you can manage your own time to finish a assignment, and it usually takes a long long time, which means you have more time to do your own stuff.

    Cons

No promotion, you can see your life in a 30 years, not for a aggressive young person who has a bigger dream, this job is for elderly people or family mom who is seeking a financial stability and flexible work time.

    Advice to Management

The managers here are variable, some are competent, but some are not. They don't have a very clear promotion policy, then you can work 10 years without a single raise.
