I have had a very good experience working at Charlotte Russe. I think its a very good job if this is your first time working retail. The employees I work with are kind and same goes for the management at the store I work at.

Cons

I wish there was more room for growth instead of holding just a retail position for a career

    I worked at Charlotte Russe full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    40% discount, health insurance was great, great music.

    Cons

    Unprofessional upper management making consistent inappropriate "below the belt" comments about their personal lives. Far too much favoritism amongst upper management and certain store managers. Way too many markdowns and marketing changes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you spent more time not making field employees feel ridiculous by having them switch the same sign three times in one day and let them run their business, you may have more properly ran stores.
