I have been working at Charter Communications full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Great people to work with! best managment team I have ever had. Over all very satisfied in my career!

Cons

Some co- workers who are just here for a check and make it sound like its the worst place to work. When in reality they couldnt find a job with a better work atmosphere or pay and benefits!

I worked at Charter Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great coworkers, decent money, pretty good conditions

    Cons

The Big Lie - I was hired to work in tech support and discovered that over 70% of my performance evaluation was based entirely on how well I attempted to upsell additional products during support calls. Scheduling is absolutely awful in all phases - often the lowest census would be during the busiest times, and conversely the highest census would be when the phones weren't ringing at all. Forget ever having consecutive days off, or ever taking a sick or vacation day - "We're understaffed - we need you to come in" is a constant refrain when those are requested. Quite frankly, I'd rather live in a cardboard box than work there again.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Separate sales and support.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Starting pay was great and they offered several different benefit packages. The training was in depth and you learned a lot about the position.

    Cons

The pick of shifts is very limited and they don't want to work around school or other activities outside of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more upfront about the position requirements at the interview
