I have been working at Charter Communications full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Used to be good pay and excellent advancement opportunities...

Cons

Upper management and Corporate Managers have no idea what they are doing. If your not a fan of change...steer clear, cause nothing stays the same. Attendance policy is a joke, God forbid you ever get sick.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change is one thing, but communication to employees is critical.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

coworkers and benefits. Pay used to be good

    Cons

executive level management are brain dead and have no idea how to satisfy the needs of the customer. Also, they find ways to reduce your pay each year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

promote people who know and have been in the industry for a long time. Quit bringing outsiders into executive level positions. They may have a nice resume, but nothing makes up for actual experience with the company and its customers.

I have been working at Charter Communications full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Starting pay is 11:00. This is average for cable company call. Enters.

    Cons

Everyday your first obligation will be to see what changes have been made sine your last day here. Most of the time, something will have changed and you will be punished for not knowing and carrying out these changes. There will be a meeting after your shift has started to better explain the changes. Meanwhile, answer phones and do your best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Make sure that none of your changes actually take place before teaching the employees how to handle the changes.
    2. If you think what the agents say is becoming monotonous, try letting them answer tha phone & respond to customers with some variety.
    3. Allow me to answer ALL of the questions on this form. (the following segment only let's me answer 2 of the 5 questions).
