Pros

Great health care benefits and also good comp for managers

Cons

Banking products and systems are 2nd tier. Not even close to the competition.

    Pros

    Great benefits, room for advancement, friendly co-workers

    Cons

    No room for errors! High turnover due to errors which ends up having the wrong people in high positions.

    Make sure your regional managers are right for the job!

    Pros

    They offer abundant Paid Time Off.

    Cons

    They play games with pay grades, bonuses, raises and merit reviews. Penny wise and pound foolish in this way. They foster the attitude that once hired you owe the bank to sacrifice time, money, opportunities. It is not a mutually beneficial environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    upper management should do a better job at disguising the fact that they are only out for themselves. In a meeting, a senior manager was expressing his disgust at the slow start a new customer satisfaction initiative was having. As he just finished saying how important our staff was to the success of the bank, he follows that by saying "if they can't do a better job at this, fire their asses!"
