Pros

- Good work /life balance--- Facetime will take you no-where so no need to do it
- Nice buildings - modern buildings in the middle of nowhere PA
- Colleagues are nice and friendly. They don't try to stab you in the back here

Cons

- Lack of clear career paths
- Senior Management lacks executive experience and is shown in strategic decisions -- very few have pursued MBA or advanced degrees to compensate for shortcomings
- Promotions go to top consultants; versus to those with the skills to lead as managers
- Compensation is SUBJECTIVE. I repeat SUBJECTIVE. They tell you how much of the pie they want to split with you. "You're a good guy, you get X"... "You're a bad guy, you get Y".
- Negative incentives to only work so hard based on compensation structure. Lots of "what's the point" attitudes because of how people are compensated

Advice to ManagementAdvice

- Change compensation to reflect the goals the founder wants.
- Develop a real leadership team and bring in senior leadership talent that can run a company
- CEO needs to find a COO to actual handle the day-to-day operations

    Pros

    Intelligent, hard working people.
    Strong values and purposes.
    Ability to have personal impact.
    Supportive work environment.
    New and comfortable office facilities.
    Relaxed dress code.

    Cons

For some the location is an obstacle. Being in a small town 45 minutes from Philadelphia is a real challenge for those who desire a more urban environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Build on the lessons learned over the past several years and implement the changes needed to ensure success as the economy recovers. Continue with the strong foundation of communication.

    Pros

If you drink the Koolaid, it would be a great place to work.

    Cons

The hypocrisy of this place just doesn't end. There are elaborate discussions about company values, yet the people in leadership positions don't actually practice any of those values. If clients actually knew what was going on, they would hire someone else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Come to grips with the fact that it really isn't a special place to work. A dose of reality would go a long way toward improving the work environment.
