Check Point Software – “Successful, but not very open”

Pros

Check Point is pretty unique in Israel with the fact that the management does not look to make a "quick exit" but rather keep growing and provide a "place to come home to" for 2000 workers.
Check Point is serious about taking it's own space as a the "Pure Security" company, and keeps its ground against the giant Cisco and Juniper.
Fiscal results year-to-year prove that the company is doing well

Cons

Management is extremely centric. Most of the decisions that filter from up above are without explanation or the capability to appeal.
If you are not a software engineer, advancement within the company is impossible.

Advice to Senior Management

Be more open.
Plan a career path for every worker.
