    I worked at Check 'n Go part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    The only pro I can think of is that you get a paycheck every two weeks, but if you are part timer it will not be much.

    Cons

    No opportunity for mobility
    You usually work alone
    Part timers don't receive benefits or many hours to work so you might consider the pay to not be worth it

    Terrible benefits for Customer Service Reps. Awful micromanagement and not worth the pay for all the work you do!!

    Pros

    Developing customer relationships is the only PRO!

    Cons

    incredibility low pay rate, virtually little training before being thrown inside of a store ALONE, NO FULL TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ALLOWED!, NO mileage reimbursement, IMPOSSIBLE GROWTH TARGETS!, too many product offerings (Netspend, Check Cashing, Title Loans, Payday Loans), NO LUNCH BREAKS!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    UPPER MANAGEMENT needs to understand that by offering part-time positions for VERY LITTLE PAY is absurd!! Also, not offering FULL TIME customer service rep positions is insulting! This company makes a lot of money and need to reconsider the starting pay for employees. This company, from doing my own research in inquiring about jobs from other loan companies, is so below average that they LAUGH when i tell them how much reps, like myself, get paid. I have been with this company for a very long time and have only gotten an .80 cent raise for many years of service (over 3 years)!!! Micromanaging does nothing but make our job more stressful than it already is and by FORCING us to loan to individuals that we KNOW will not be able to afford the loan (because we must give them the MAXIMUM APPROVED AMOUNT)is sickening!! District managers are a joke, especially since they cannot run an entire store on their own without asking for help from a store manager at a different location or a CSR, whom you pay so LITTLE!
