Pros

Great place to learn USAID regulations inside and out, as well as the nuts and bolts of project management for international development.

Cons

Many staff struggle with the work-life balance, and temps don't receive any benefits.

    Every now and then you get a glimpse of why you are actually in the world of ID

    Cons

    Long crazy hours, based on USAID's RFP schedule, the longer people work there the colder they get to the outsider or newcomer.

    Pros

    If you have initiative and drive you will suceed at Chemonics. There are many opportunities to grow and the company has a strong internal training component.

    Cons

    Sometimes it's sink or swim and employees need to be self motivated and learn how to do things for themselves. This has imporoved over the years.

    Continue to make employee rentention a priority
