Pros

A chance to work with Santa during Christmas, learn to use a DSLR, Listen to the laughing and sometimes crying of kids sitting with santa. Yes, all of it was funny.

Cons

Management is unable to fully answer questions, they don't properly train you, unless of course they're organized and know what they're doing. They will not confront you to your face and lie about how the set is doing.

Advice to Management

Train your employees to do their jobs. And be there for them when they have a question or concern.

I worked at Cherry Hill Photo as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I did the Easter Bunny gig for a few weeks (only a three week contract) and it was awesome. Perfect for someone just looking to kill three weeks in April/May and make a little money. Great experience for anyone JUST out of college/university looking to bring in a few bucks while waiting for the real job to call. Sit in a chair, wave. Take pictures with kids, babies, families and bored teenagers. Walk around the plaza and wave. Play games with passers-by and hand out colouring books. A really easy gig if you can figure out a method for staying cool in the costume (it does get quite warm).

    Cons

Not for anyone looking for anything ongoing.

    Advice to Management

I noticed that some of my fellow bunnies were pretty boring. Never moving from the chair, just waving... A small bump in pay for the bunnies may help to find more active performances. And if you don't do that... please don't inform the bunnies what the Santas get paid (holy smokes!)...

I have been working at Cherry Hill Photo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very fun environment, Nice coworkers, very festive

    Cons

Very fluctuating hours (I've recieved VERY little work for 5 weeks), Strict dress code (no facial piercings, white dress shirt and beige bras ONLY. only white undershirts, black dress pants and shoes. you get in trouble if you wear ANYTHING else)

    Advice to Management

Consider being a bit more lenient. It's a Christmas job. Also, make sure your managers schedule everyone equally.
