Rigid structure, no outside trading, old technology. Opportunity to grow and get promoted few.
Lot of emplasis on production support. Too much complex system.

I have been working at Chicago Board Options Exchange full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Predictable hours aside from pager duty. If you are pursuing an evening higher educational degree, this is a great place to work. The culture respects employees and offers tuition reimbursement with some restrictions.

    Cons

There are no opportunities to telecommute. You have to be at the office every day. Moreover, it does not offer many promising career growth paths.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to provide more opportunities for promotion from within.
