I worked at Chicago Bridge & Iron as a contractor

    Pros

Provides great insight on how not to conduct business.

    Cons

There is no leadership, the few good managers are not allowed to use best practices and the client's interests are at bottom of importance. There is no respect for employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Project management needs to provide guidance and assistance to project staff, reports are useful only when data is necessary, up to date and meaningful. There is too much time wasted on gathering data for reports that are obsolete and not enough time to be productive in your work. Middle management needs to give good example with work ethics and respect for client, not the other way around.
