Chicago Bridge & Iron Project in Houston, TX:   (Past Employee - 2009)

Pros

Employee benefits were competitive with competitors.

Cons

No performance reviews. Project management has no idea the status of projects or the performance of each project. Very little exsistence of management systems. Project execution and planning is very poor. Published backlogs are based on a hope and a prayer.

Advice to Senior Management

Make sure every employee is reviewed annually. Evaluate performance based on objective results, not on cliques or subjective feelings.
