Pros – Good visibility
Greater responsibility
Flexible work hours
Good insurance benefits
Cons – Senior management is still caught up in the tank building Business model. It cannot execute EPC projects. CBI has acquired a lot of smaller companies to boost their image in the EPC market but the synergies between the different units are not to be seen.
Advice to Senior Management – Groom younger engineers in the "CBI" way of doing business. Investigate as to why younger Engineers are leaving CBI.
