I have been working at Chick-fil-A

    Pros

Team members are generally very sharp and a pleasure to work with
Generally management can work around your schedule
    Great reputation
    Free food

    Cons

No career advancement if you don't know the right corporate people
    Benefits are non existant
No paid time off, sick days or vacation. Work 313 days a year to get paid with only Sundays off
Corporate employees act like prima donnas that are above all except operators
Operators are just well paid glorified GM's. They just get to hire actual working GM's to run the store for them
Information is on an as needed basis for those that aren't operators
Not actually a Christian company, just marketed as such. They are after every cent and sale as all other businesses/1% out there.
Use Christian and Biblical principals to squeeze every ounce of labor out of everybody
    Operators treat employees like dirt
Trust me it's NOT our pleasure

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate SHOULD mandate paid vacation time and benefits to full time management, not just operators. Operators make on average $200,000 a year while the people actually running the store scrape by on 2-3 jobs and government assistance. Not very Christian or Biblical
We love to see operators lavished on the seminar getaways while we struggle
Cutout the operator and just corporatly own the store and pay your GM's and other management more. How can it be our pleasure when the operator is never at work but yet makes a killing.
Have corporate employees treat team members and management with a little respect
Most full time employees I talk to are miserable and would leave if they could afford to
