The only reason to work at Chico's is for the clothing discount, if you are a fan of the clothing.

Cons

Poor store level management, little control over your schedule (even when working less than 10 hours a week), misrepresentation of bonus plan, terrible planning of sales, staffing and store change out from corporate office

Advice to Senior Management

Let the sales associates sell your product and stop creating a discount mentality form your loyal customer base. The management should not be competing with sales associates for sales. Also, follow through with leadership development for your in-store management. Many managers are just warm bodies filling spots and completing the endliess mundane tasks you send to them. The culture of the brand that is so highly touted is lost on the store management level.
The company has ceased to think strategically and is forced to function tactically due to poor leadership from the top.
