Chili's was a great place to work for many years, they started losing their culture before I left

I worked at Chili's

Pros

Fun environment and great staff. Working with high energy people made the job well worth the time. Food was always good for sure.

Cons

Company really struggled with direction after Norman Brinker left the helm.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it fresh as you are doing with recent retrofit but go back to the original culture and stop bowing down to wallstreet.

I worked at Chili's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They do offer servers cheaper healthcare, and dental via payroll deduction, so it is cheaper than signing up by yourself at insurance companies. Great atmosphere, loved working there and the food of course is delicious.

    Cons

Very busy restaurant, so if you're not use to you will have to learn quick, sometimes you don't get the tip you deserve due to other functions in the business going smoothly. Like cooks putting out food cold and incorrect. As with any waitress job though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall a good place to work, I think there should be food runners for busy locations at least similar to TGIFridays for the servers.
