Pros

The training is great! Corporate really cares and helps provide servers/bartenders with extraordinary training.

Cons

Management sometimes sounds scripted. Corporate trains them to answer each scenario with a script.

Advice to Management

Remember that the employees are PEOPLE. Keep it real, knock of the "corporate says to answer this question this-a-way" bs- we can see right through that. Remember to be compassionate.

    Pros

    - Was really fun interacting with the nice customers and getting to know them.
    - the bar area was really fun on the weekends
    - was a great workout; i lost a lot of weight there because it's such a fast paced environment. always on your feet and doing something.

    Cons

    -underpaid
    -management played favorites
-the servers never wanted to help to-go because they were intimidated.
-too much work for ONE person on to- go to do by themselves.
-it should be mandatory for the servers to help to-go when they have some down time; not just walk by the screen as they see the to-go person struggling and running around crazily.
-"Call ahead seating??" that is the most pointless thing i have ever heard of. i hosted a few times and people would "call ahead" thinking that they made a reservation. we were only supposed to take down people's names when we were on a wait.. so the person could call ahead so they wouldn't have to wait for too long. but it was pointless because it's not like they can jump ahead of the angry people who are already in the restaurant waiting and complaining.

    Advice to Management

-stop playing favorites. it's very rude.
-be consistent and work on communication. i had several managers each tell me different things about food items or restaurant procedures.
