Chiquita Brands Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Chiquita Brands full-time for less than a year

Pros – They match 401k to 150%, and you get to see a recognized company fall apart. Also, it will make you really appreciate your old job.

Cons – All of the systems are dated and unbelievable inefficient. All the new hires received minimal training and now the experianced people are leaving or got fired, so most of the support is gone. No one seems happy and it seems everyone is just sticking it out til they can find something else. There's a severe lack of accountability, and hardly any leadership or guidance. Even managers seem to be fearing for their jobs. The positions the new hires were sold on more often than not are nothing like what was promised; don't listen to recruiters/HR, this is NOT a good environment. Frankly I can't believe this company is still in business, but I don't think it will be for much longer.
