Pros

If you love being around people, this job is definitely for you.

Cons

The upside is also the downside. It's a lower quality hotel so the clientele may take getting used to if you work for a hotel in a depressed part of town.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

He was very intelligent for selling the business.

    Pros

Good coffee in the office, some employees are fun

    Cons

HUGE micromanagement issues; Directors - Tim Oldfield, Mike Bobbitt, Brendan Gibney do not care about immediate employees, and definitely do not care about franchisees or their success. The goal is to squeeze every dollar out of operation, and put as much pressure on employees. Very bad relationship with InnVest and Westmont Hospitality. Do not work for this employer as you will be dissatisfied in a few short months, and will be forced to look for another job which will look bad on your resume. This company also has VERY bad reputation in the industry and among major clients. You feel like a number, and all of the things are done by the "book" so there is no personal attachment or commitment from senior management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management - first value and admire your employees. Second - stop being cheap, and empower your employees to do great things. After-all - you hired ALL of us, and should trust us that we will do a very good job.
