    I worked at Christiana Care

    Pros

Compensation, flexibility, benefits, location, shuttle in between campuses

    Cons

Co-workers who are more concerned about what I do, as opposed to the job they are supposed to be doing. Management who turns a blind eye to the tension within the department. Co-workers who talk a good game, but have no clue of what they are doing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Clean house!

I have been working at Christiana Care

    Pros

It's a big company and there's a lot of stability in employment.

    Cons

There's is very little opportunity for growth or advancement, and little to no recognition for a job well done. I am consistently puzzled as to how the members of the management team were chosen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize that your team members are intelligent people who want to know what's going on and can share in the responsibility of the department. Recognize that, as nurses, we care about our patients and will work towards that goal if given the opportunity. Show us that your highest priority is patient safety, not money or appearances.
