Pros

It is easy to work between different groups. I spent time in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement

Cons

You can get buried with work and there are some poor lower level Executives that you can get trapped under.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need more forced turnover of under performing Directors, Improve work life balance some work is just wasteful and unnecessary.

I worked at Chrysler full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

This company is reinventing itself, and is in a resurgence period, ready to position itself globally better than Walter P Chrysler could have ever imagined. The Italian infusion has given Chrysler a new drive, and brings new resources that were not available to them before, with a renewed willingness to listen to good ideas and bring them to market.

    Cons

Professional gratification comes with hard work and dedication, so this isn't a 9 - 5 day, and be prepared invest some time to get well earned returns.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure you recognize the efforts of your employees, reward them accordingly, but more importantly check their pulse occasionally to prevent any potential premature breakdown that will affect their productivity. This is important time for Chrysler/Fiat, and people are your greated asset, keep them healthy, strong and productive.
