Pros

Company is ver employee-centric in that there is a great compensation package, great benefits, and room for advancement both professional and persona.

Cons

Senior management jumped on the outsourcing bandwagon for wrong reasons resulting in many jobs being eliminated unnecessarily. Vendors used under performed so much so that many employees were hired back from vendors.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should look internally at extremely capable employee base instead of outsourcing key functions.

    9-5 job,
    Generous PTO time ,
    Survived the financial metldown well.

    Cons

    Some middle managers are not suited for their jobs - poor people skills, lack of knowledge - but seem to hold managerial positions simply because they have been at the company for a long time.

    The overall salaries are low compared to other companies.

    The workload is crazy and one needs to be able to compartmentalize and leave some things undone in order to not be overworked. Management sets goals that are impossible to meet worklod assignments are not equally distributed. This puts some people in a position where they have to stay late or come in on weekends to try to keep up even though their salaries don't warrant this kind of dedication. Advancement is impossible and goes to least qualified.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    a requirement should be put in place for Management to be able to process the work. When this is done maybe then Management will respect employees, not to demean, set them up for failure and set goals that are impossible to meet.

    Another requirement for Management is they need to attend classes for how to effectively lead employees and people skills.
