Pros and Cons of CEC Entertainment

Opening Coordinator (Current Employee)
DFW, TX

I have been working at Chuck E. Cheese's full-time for more than 3 years

ProsI would definitely say that working at CEC Entertainment was a funfilled entertaining environment. The different personalities you come in contact with on a daily basis is interesting to see. Most of all, the kids you saw come to CEC for years grow up and become teens when you remember them being much younger. In addition, the team members and how they have progressed, both personally and professionally.

ConsLack of compensation for what the job requires. Not enough accountability controls against those General Managers who do not take ownership of their business and pust it down onto the lower level managers, with hopes of picking up the slack. In my experiences, management has put "friendships" over business which comes a major problem in the working environment.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart valeuing your people more effectively. People are your greatest assett. If you cannot take care of your people, how can you expect them to take care of the guest (costomer)?

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
