I worked at Church & Dwight

    Pros

Good teams, great ancillary perks - summer hours, employee giving fund, supplemented weight loss groups. Fair salary but not enough support staff.

    Cons

Too lean means that you can't move that much. They don't promote you unless someone dies or retires and people stay FOREVER!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Workers at Church & Dwight work hard - everyone rolls up their sleeves and digs in which is great but people want recognition through advancement and when you can't offer that, you lose them.

I have been working at Church & Dwight

    Pros

summer hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
    good medical benefits
    reasonable work life balance
    good stock performance
    some great people as colleagues

    Cons

    management by fear
    too much politics
    cliquy
    very limited career advancement opportunities
    extremely high turnover
    cut throat culture
    insensitive managment
    difficult commute

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to be more sensitive to people and how they treat them, especially offering more career opportunities and better compensation so people want to stay. The current rate of turnover is way too high in my opinion
